GOOD OR BAD HABITS
WHAT ARE HABITS?
According to
a dictionary, habits are tendencies or usual manners of behavior that have become
almost involuntary. as a result, habits are the trigger of your good or bad
behavior in people's life.
In our childhood, habits
could be corrected by our parents or teachers at schools; consequently, most of
them were very difficult to change magically, but if they become as a polity
prohibition house rules, it could help to correct them to all members of the
family at the same time.
One of the bad habits that
we used to do when we were children is to make noise when we ate quickly, or
talked with food in our mouth, and those things for our mom was difficult to
correct us, because she felt happy when we ate all the food, but when our dad
ate the dinner with us, that was terrible, he always said that it was a bad
behavior to eat making noise or talk with food in our mouth, and when we ate
the dinner nobody talked in the living room, only dad and mom.
We put in
practice all our father's advice, although our meal took more time than before,
but we did, and he always told us the embarrassing situation of doing that in
front of other people in a restaurant or in a family meal and we felt scared.
We tried to
change that habit and when someone made an involuntary noise, everybody laughed
including my dad, but as time went by, we learned to eat in the correct way.
Nevertheless, I grew up and become to a mother, my life changed completely, because I had to follow and apply my father’s advices with my children, and I should be the example of them, however the only bad habit that I couldn’t change is to wipe my hands on clothing but I am sure that it only happens when I’m in a hurry.
I think the
most difficult thing to change is “go to bed early”, the pandemic definitely
changed our lives, and I think more for teachers, although our work scheduled finishes,
we have to continue working on our laptop very late at night.
